guys.....captain underpants was actually so good. It was so refreshing after seeing like, subpar interpretations of stuff that I saw as a kid, or movies that interpreted a thing I saw as a kid well but changed every aspect of it (cough cough how to train your dragon) even if those things were still good but like, thank you dreamworks because it was so well done and kept all the classic stuff from the books like the dumb jokes and the style but then also KEPT THE BACKGROUND MEANING ABOUT HOW CRAPPY PUBLIC SCHOOL IS AND HOW EDUCATION ISNT VALUED WHICH WAS SO GOOD!!!! AND MANAGED TO PORTRAY THE TWO CHARACTER's RELATIONSHIP AS A TOUCHING AND MEANINGFUL THING WITHOUT MAKING IT CHEESY OR A "BOYS CANT SHOW EMOTION " THING IT WAS JUST SO GOOD
